Over the years, she has also written numerous legal publications, appeared on television and teaches judges from across the country. Judge Hayashi resides in Honolulu, Hawaii with her attorney husband, Alan Van Etten, and their two sons, Justin and Taylor, who provide endless love and support. When she's not writing, Leslie enjoys making art (watercolors, acrylics and ceramics), dancing ballet and learning to play the piano! About the Illustrator Kathleen Wong Bishop is a graduate of Stanford University. She resides in Phoenix, Arizona with her beloved husband David and their three children, Lisa, Daniel and Rachel. Caring for her family brings her muchjoy. She is a devoted meditator and is grateful to her spiritual teacher Sri Eknath Easwaran. Kathleen is thankful for the many blessings she receives as Director of Children and Youth Ministries at Shepherd of the Hills Congregational Church.
