The stories we tell are important because they can change how we act in the world. In the summer of 2003, a study was undertaken at Dinosaur Provincial Park to explore the perceived ability of existing programming to promote ecological citizenship. Follwoing a series of in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, it became apparent that the promotion of ecolocial citizenship was challenged by a lack of information conducive to integrating natural and cultural history into park naratives.
