This book set out to investigate the effect of incorporating wiki in the web-based social constructivist specialized translator-training workshops on the Iranian Universities trainee translators performance; participation in two different categories: aggregate edits and marginal notes; and attitude towards online class structure, collaborative learning, wiki, and the peer-assessment model of evaluation, when compared with the conventional contact workshops. This study should shed some light on the positive effects of utilizing wiki in the web-based workshop on the performance of the future translators as a result of the more developed translation and translator competences; on the participation of trainee translators; and on their attitude towards this teaching and evaluating model. 176 pp. Englisch<
