She has one published article in the Denver Post Empire magazine about a German prisoner of war camp in Fraser, Colorado during World War II, and is currently doing research on the American Expeditionary Force in Siberia, where her grandfather served with the 27th Infantry in World War I. She has one brother in the Army reserves, two other brothers and a sister, as well as her parents. She is also a trauma survivor. This is her first novel.
