They also include accounts of vision quests and religious rites, reveal the fate of an Arapaho woman captured by Utes, and describe Arapaho uses of the Medicine Wheel in the Bighorn Mountains. Told by Paul Moss, a highly respected storyteller taught by Yellow Calf (the last traditional Arapaho chief, d. 1935), these twelve texts introduce readers to an immensely rich literature.
